Marcello Ibanez standard chalkboard drawings

I've created this blog in order to share my chalkboards drawings that I do daily. Everything started at The Standard Hotel a few years ago. I wanted to do something related to what was happening in the world or around me, just for fun. As I continued to draw, guest seemed more interested into seeing more of my drawings. Little by little it became part of The Standard Miami identity.

marcello daniel ibanez: I'm Marcello Ibanez originally from Argentina. I studied Photography in Palermo university Design and Communication I've always had a passion for drawing and I have developed it along the years ,my inspiration for these drawings come from what I see on a daily basis in Miami beach . The character in my drawings are an over-dramatization of the beautiful guest that visit the standard hotel Miami . they are resourceful eclectic,unique,creative, sensuous and super fun
